This is a nutritional blog that focuses on educating highschool students in the idea of nutrition and the impacts it has on the body.
I am a student at Westlake Academy. My vision is to help highschool students understand the importance and effects that nutrition has on our bodies. Nutrition plays a major role on the health and how our bodies feel. Nutrition is one of the leading fundamental aspects of living a healthy and long life. Not only does it benefit the longevity of our lives, but it also drives growth, reduces the risks of chronic diseases, and lowers the chances of developing diabetes. Nutrition is a vast topic that can include and delve into many interesting aspects of the human body. However, one specific aspect of Nutrition that I focused on was through the lens of fitness and muscle development. I am very passionate about exercise and building muscle. I have been working out and staying active my whole life. My workouts would include strength training, running, and workouts for my extracurricular activities including football, tennis, and track. One of my long-term goals is to build muscle and maintain a healthy lifestyle. In doing so by eating the right things for the body. I decided to educate myself on the science behind a healthy diet and the importance of having the essential vitamins and macronutrients in your diet and the reason behind consuming these nutrients. I wanted to share my research and findings with you!
